INFO!! Reasons of the Pink UNSW

So, now i just know why UNSW turns so gay..

coz it's october!!! and it's a Pink Ribbon month..
so they make the uni pink to stated that it's a pink ribbon month to support the breast cancer research, and why they make the uni pink instead of the sydney tower or watsoeva..
coz the researches are held in universities and that's y they make the uni pink!!
other uni-s that supports are the Usyd, UWS, and uni of Wollonggong.
but i dunno if they goes gay at night too..
so any1 from those uni-s please inform me..

ME ON THE PINK RIBBON CAMPAIGN!!
for the sake of experience to put in my resume i voulunteer for pink ribbon fund raising in uni
it was a very fun day.. even tho i was quite busy with assignment, josh n etc.
surprisingly i can juggle with all of those!!
(those are only less than half of the peepz and the stand that they have that day..)

for the fund raising i helped them to set up the stand,
stick posters and modified the posters,
sell loads of cupcakes and merchandises..
and the organizers was thanking me coz i was the most active 1
and i sold the most cupcakes and merchandises per person
(doesn't count the peepz that willingly come to buy emselves)
so basically i was making the peepz that doesn't care to care and buy heaps!! =P
so cool, rite??? huh.. that's wat u call as Windy! =D
so yea, here are the photos..

these people that voulunteer have different reasons to join in..
1 of the organizer were diagnosed with breast cancer before..
another organizer lose her mom coz of the breast cancer..
the other 1 (there r 3 organizers) is an activist for any women causes..
1 voulunteer have a sis that has breast cancer n still fighting till now..
the guy with mustage (in the picture) join coz his wife is having breast cancer..
some are just care that it is a serious desease and would like to help
some care bout the fact of 6000 women in australia died yearly coz of breast cancer..
and the fact that men could get breast cancer too..
some just want to help for this cause before they hv to leave australia afer graduation..
however, joining this event really opens my eyes how people wanna do something
just for the sake of hope that their loved ones will be cured..
for the sake of a longer life for others,
or for the sake of humanity..

btw, i bought few pretty merchandises to support. i spent a lot for those..
i bought 1 diamante brooche ($10. super duper pretty),
1 enamel pink ribbon brooche ($8 prolly, juz bcoz i love brooche =P)
3 pink rubber bracelets ($5 maybe, wanted to wear 1 but it was too big,
the rest are for my friends catherine and winnie in indo)
2 pink cupcakes (@ $2.50 -1 for me, 1 for josh's b'day cake =P)

that the research are trying to find..
you'll never know when will YOU needs the cure
and my mom always teach me to give for charities..
and my mom taught me to believe that if you do good things u'll get good things in repay..

So, i'll definitely voulunteering for this event again next year!!
