trial for job in gloria jean's

yesterday i went to see the manager of the gloria jean's where li ying n friends working at.

to find job for myself of course..

since this summer i prolly only go home for 2 weeks max..
i got interviewed yesterday straight away..
and the manager ask me to come for trial this morning..
so there you go.. i had trial from 9.30 to 12.00 in The Rocks branch.
it was alright, and as always doing anything about food, resto, cafe or
other hospitalities are a very fun thing for me, so i did have fun there for a while.
just on the point that i can have fun the manager tell me that i can go home.

however, i met new peeps there today..

1. Coco
a very chinkish chink fob that've been in syd for 5 years but still can't understand the oz accent or british accent or other accent..
(wondering whether she even watch english languaged TV programs)
and she's new in this shop too.. and she dunno wat is seniors,
dunno that skim milk is no fat.. she dunno brownies, dunno muffins too probably..
dunno sausage roll, croissant, rocky road, etc etc too prolly..
if she dunno lamington i'm still ok, it's oz stuff and even josh didn't know, just some people

that are educated about the oz from something like unsw foundation year that teach

australian studies that prolly know.
but seriously.. brownies???? u dunno brownies after 5 years staying in oz??

dude.. why would you be out of the chinalalaland of you don't learn anything?

why don't you just stay in china???

even the way she serve people also giving me headache even tho i only a trial noob

she didn't even say hi to the customer.. and only stand there till the customer say sumthin..
so CHINK!! giving a face like "i dun care about you dear customer.."
she's so slack.. if a person like her can get a job there n i can't then prolly i hv to kill myself..

2. Dong

another chinese USYD student. THIS 1 IS NOT A CHINK.. luckily.. and he also know the problem bout the Chinky-coco that sound even worse than scrappy-coco you loco-moco..
and Dong really teached me a lot..
i admire the way he work.. very calm n steady.. super cool!!..
he really get wat the customer wants fast.. yet in a cool way..

3. Jenny
just see her, dunno much bout her yet..

so there goes my trial..

and at the end....
this evening i got a call from eleanor (the owner of the branches) taht i got the job!!!!
hahahahha.. so yea.. waiting for the schedule..

money come to mama!!!!! =P
